Research Design Write a 700- to 1,050-word summary on whether the research design you selected is a quantitative or qualitative method design and why this design appropriately aligns with your problem, purpose, and research question(s). Write in a scholarly tone and substantiate your discussion with peer-reviewed literature. Provide citations and references. Note: You will be placing this discussion in the Research Outline Template under the Research Design section. The purpose of this assignment was to locate one qualitative and quantitative research articles on a topic in your program of study from the University Library. You did well writing an analysis about the articles you found that explained the characteristics that make the study and research methods used quantitative as well as qualitative. The major differences between the two types of research methods were also addressed. For part 2, you did well including an explanation of why you selected the methodology. The revised problem and purpose statements, and the revised RQs from Week 5 were also included. Adding the research method to the template and providing an explanation of why this method appropriately aligns with your problem, purpose, and research question would have enhanced the content. Please review the comments included in your paper using the inline annotation tools. The Reference and Citation Examples in the CWE is a great guide to use for future reference.
