Social media content is a part of our lives, whether we like it or not. As organizations move more of their communication online, sites like Yammer®, Slack®, and Microsoft Teams™ blend social media and professional communication. Blogging is another writing form used not only for personal expression, but also for marketing, promoting, creating online communities, and engaging audiences. Your ability to write a thoughtful, kind, and useful social media or blog post matters more than ever, whether at work or on Facebook®. Digital footprints can boost success or stall careers. 
Review the social media and blog/vlog posts details called out in the Genre Description Chart.
Review the following articles and video from the University Library to learn more about writing and social media:

Complete the Social Media Post and Reflection Activity using the provided instructions. Use the worksheet to display the post and to reply to the reflection questions. Do not respond on a Word document which you create.
