In Human Resources, key legislation affecting employees and employers can influence how work activities, best practices, strategic planning, business operations, and management. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission oversees these key laws that have been pre-selected for you to create an informative PowerPoint (PPT) Presentation. Your textbook covers all the laws below. Begin with eight (8) key employment laws, and then you will select two (2) additional laws of your own choice. Your PowerPoint Presentation should include the following requirements:
A selection of ten key employment laws.
At the minimum, your PPT should have 16 plus slides, not including your cover slide or your references page slide.
Look for key points about the law, and provide details about the law on your PPT slide.
Do not write a paragraph on your slide.
Use columns, bullet points with descriptions of the law, and in a few words, explain what the law can do for an employee and/or an organization.
Use any images that relate, connect, or describe your findings but do not allow the image to take over the major portion of your slide.
Include at least two (2) references at the end of your PPT presentation. One (1) of the references must be your textbook and the other can be a government website, for example, the U.S. Department of Labor, or Insert a reference list at the end of your presentation.
Each law should have at least two slides of content.
